Unplanned Stop

We went for a bike ride last weekend and instead of heading down our usual route, Roger suggested we head to a park we haven't visited lately. Since it was such a hot day, we knew the splash pad would be a great destination. Unfortunately we didn't plan for the kids to get wet...as you will see from the pictures, we improvised. :-) I never thought I would be one of "those moms" with "those kids..." and yet, here is the proof. :-)

 Yes, they rode home in their undies...they did put on their shirts after this pic.

 We had to flip flop their boxers - Beckett wore Grant's boxer briefs since they were a big baggy on him.

 And here is Grant rockin the Star Wars boxers. And the green crocs really do make the outfit! 

I bought the kids new tennis shoes for the fall and they want to wear them all the time. They also got new boxer briefs...so here is Beckett lounging on the couch in his usual outfit these days - tshirt, boxer briefs and new shoes. Who needs shorts?
