And Now Beckett

Today we went to the Rockport pool for the first time. Grant has been very excited to go to the pool because he remembered that they have a diving board. So after some time in the baby pool, we headed over to the big pool. My first stop was the lifeguard, with Grant in tow, to find out the rules of the diving board. Well, of course Beckett followed and we found out that yes, he too can jump off the board. So off he goes, running to the board. Cap quickly jumped in the water and here you will see him jump. I love how excited he is and especially how he's psyching himself up for the jump. He had a great time, completely wore out his rescuers (Cap and Mommy) and is looking forward to going back. Whew...you'd never know that he's only 3!

Grant was great too. He tried diving (didn't go too well, so we practiced off the side of the pool for a bit), but he has the cannonball down! I am always impressed with his swimming - he does a great job!

The lifeguard put Beckett into timeout because he wasn't listening. After probably 5 whistles and 5 close talks, he finally pulled him out of the pool. Beckett, no running! Beckett, you can't go down the slide backwards! UGH! As you can see, he's not crying and upset about being in trouble, he's just mad!
