First thing, the entire school participated in a parade through the halls. The Simmons' boys decided to dress up at Thing 1 and Thing 2. Yes, I know Beckett doesn't attend Parkside yet, but we went to the parade and Grant needed a counterpart. :-)

The second part of the big day was their attempt (and success!) at breaking the Guiness Book of World Records for the most people wearing a Cat in the Hat hat at the same time. A school in Dallas broke the record a couple of days before with 730 people. We completely demolished them with 918! Go Mustangs!
