LOVE FREE STUFF!
So, July 11th was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A AND free slurpee day at 7-11. The kids and I donned the necessary cow apparel and headed to the mall to claim our free meals. And after hitting the pool that afternoon we swung by 7-11 to claim our free slurpees. This year there was an employee in charge of the slurpee machine, so it wasn't as much fun. Oh well. Plus lemonaide flavor...not so good.
Here are the kids jammin to one of their favorite songs. Beckett was really getting into it...definitely in a goofy mood this day.
CRASH
We like to explore new house construction. The kids enjoy looking for their rooms and Roger and I like to dream about what might be next. On this day we loaded everyone up, including Riley, and went to check out this amazing neighborhood. At the 2nd house, Beckett flew down one of the driveways and completely wiped out on his scooter. Poor kid tore up his ankle and leg pretty good. Here he is recovering with Black Dog.
On our way to see Amy, Randy and Megan in downtown Austin. Decided to take the train to avoid traffic.
Kids got bored of the ride.
Late lunch with Amy, Randy and Megan
Amy came to visit right before my birthday - she brought cupcakes. :-)
Amy got to meet Beckett's forever companion - Black Dog
Don't remember what was so funny...
Picture of Beck's ankle after about 3 days of healing. He kept reinjuring it.
Cut up ankle is not going to keep Beckett out of the pool. He is trying out a friend's crazy shark swim wear.
Discovered that Beckett's adult tooth didn't want to wait for his baby tooth to fall out. He called himself "shark boy".
Macie is 60!
Macie and Cap had dinner with Amy before heading to Washington to see Nana, Cindi and Amy. Amy did a great job surprising her at a local Mexican restaurant. :-)
