Happy Birthday Beckett!

I can't believe it! Beckett is already 3 years old!

We celebrated on 2 separate days. On Friday, we met some of his friends at the Children's Museum where they played for a couple of hours and then we all had lunch and cupcakes.

Then, on Saturday, the Simmons family took a train ride from Noblesville to Tipton. The ride was about 50 minutes. In Tipton we enjoyed a pizza buffet (complete with cupcakes that I told Beckett were for him of course) and then we came back. The kids LOVED it. Beckett kept saying "thank you" and that it was "the best train ride ever." So cute!

The elderly woman in charge of our car on the way back found out that it was Beckett's birthday, so she sang Happy Birthday to him. He had a huge smile on his face and then the whole car cheered for him. So fun!

Here are some pics from the train ride:

The boys on the front of one of the engines in the "museum" part of the train park. Notice Beckett's shirt? It's the same one Grant wore when he turned 3! It was an unusually chilly day for June.

Roger pointing some things out to Beckett...he was mezmorized the whole trip up to Tipton! Just sat on Roger's lap and looked out the window.

Grant enjoying his cupcake and pizza at the same time...MMMMM. :-)

Birthday boy with what was left of his cupcake.

Trying to get a good picture these days is very difficult.

Roger just followed the kids lead.

I gave the kids my phone and they took goofy pics. Reminded me of a photo booth...except that I have about 40 pictures instead of just 4. :-)

Grant is really into long stories these days, so Roger is telling him one on the way home - something about knights and dragons.
